Hello, Chen-san.

I'm Taka HONMA. I'm glad to meet you first time, and Welcome aboard to our JA'sMMNETwork.

We got your message on our WEB site. What a very nice big boat Isn't it?
Probably seem to be the 42footer class of the Trekker Boat which was build by your country Taiwan I think.
We are always wishing, have a good sailling and enjoy it.

By the way, We have some advice that to about HF ANT setting on your boat.

Does the ANT is use IC-706 and ATU in together ?
If that so, We recommend it. Think that should be little bit more up lift the bottom-end of the ANT.
Yes, Point is around uper level of the redar gate.

The method is appoximately 2m length stainless or FRP pipe hold with a radar gate side and joint an HF ANT in it,
it's very easy way.
Then after, a measureing ANT line for ATU which went out from an ANT end. using of like a plastic separators,
from stainless steel then fasten the radar gate pipe for sevral places.
Inportant thing that keeping an ANT line away can prevent the metal interference from a stainless gate pipe.
And other inportant need thing, Keeping good RF ground you know.

Well, We will teach for your infomation. Please looking for this blog site, The author by our OKERA-NET founder
JA1TKA Mr Kotani-san. This site give us detaild instruction on how to make a ANTsystem for sail boat.

FYI: http://take103.blog.fc2.com/blog-category-33.html

So Chen-san. I saw the photo of your radio system from JA1IDQ Yoshi-san.
What a wonderful many equipment and ANTsystem you have, seem to be your great collector Isn't it?

In addition, Already you like almost good support station, If you have time and able to supporting on our JAMMNET
as an also regular relay rikujyo-kyoku from Tinan Taiwan.
Please participaite a member of our JAMMNET support station by all means. We are very appreciate it always welcome.

HI Taka San,

Thank you very much for your advice.it's my pleasure to Join JAMMnet.
What great web of marine time radio. I like this web , I have been read all pages of marine radio for 2 years. Thank you ALL 前輩.

My sailboat is Trekker 42 that is design by サワジ・デザイン , and made by 日本ノーテック 株式會社. I know there are two yacht made Trekker serial sailboat in Taiwan.

I use IC-706 AT-130 and 5M long GP. I know there are many weakly point of my antenna system. Because I just only have a few time to prepare antenna stuff and limited weight to hand carry.
The GP antenna is DIY by myself. It's just for back to Taiwan use.
When come to Taiwan , I will install a typical 8M long FRP marine SSB GP and a backstay long wire. I connect AT-130 to keel ground.
When I push down tune, At-130 is working quickly and nice SWR in ic-706.

Thank you very much for your information. I research the JA1TKA's web site for 2 years. I like the information for much.

My rig are very old transceiver , I like old type transceiver , easy to operate and good sound. I like to join to contest . I always operate SO2R during contest. SO I have many spare rigs.

It's my pleasure for be a JA MMnet member , I can relay rikujyo-kyoku from Tinan Taiwan . By the way I will install AIS base station around Taiwan. I already install a APRS iGate in my QTH. And there are very nice APRS condition around Taiwan. The frequency of APRS in BV is 144.64mhz 1200bps. I also install a APRS system in my boat , SSID is BX6AP-8. And AIS system in my boat , MMSI is 338196223.

Thank you very much for your help.
Hope to see on the air.

Brest Regards

Hi Taka San,

Thank you very much for your take care.

Because my business is very busy, I can not take my boat by myself.

I take a IC-706 on my boat in the end of FEB , that was fall down on the flood on my boat and the frequency dial was broken.

I ask my friend take another IC-7000 on my boat. But it can not work with dc power problem.

My friend help me to take my boat back in 4/18.

They docked in 御前崎港 in 4/19 and now around 志摩.

This page is all information of S/V Naluce.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1345680218782180/

I will go to Ishigaki in 5/4 and I will save the dc problem of IC-7000.

Hope to see you on the air.
